Damascus, SANA- The 7th round of monthly shopping\u00a0festival “Made in Syria” was opened on Monday at\u00a0al-Jalaa sports complex in Mezzeh area in Damascus
\nwith the participation of a hundred national\u00a0companies.<\/p>\n

Industry Minister Kamal Eddin Touma affirmed that\u00a0the festival indicates that the mini and mid-sized\u00a0industrial establishments are in a stage of\u00a0recovery and that the wheel of production has\u00a0taken off, with factories becoming able to meet\u00a0the local markets’ needs of different products.<\/p>\n

In turn, Chairman of the Board of the Damascus and\u00a0Damascus Countryside Chamber of Industry Samer al-\u00a0Debs stressed the importance of the festival\u00a0through which producers try to present their\u00a0products directly to locals with low prices.<\/p>\n

The festival is a monthly event that gathers all\u00a0social actives where the customer meets the\u00a0producer directly without any mediator in a\u00a0positive phenomenon that requires a support and\u00a0encouragement from all parties concerned.<\/p>\n

The first round of the festival was opened in\u00a0Damascus followed by three others, while three\u00a0other festivals\u00a0, two in Tartous and one in\u00a0Lattakia, were opened this year.<\/p>\n
