Deir Ezzor<\/span><\/p>\n A military source confirmed on Sunday thwarting a terrorist attack launched\u00a0by ISIS terrorists on a number of sites near al-Tharda Mountain in the southern countryside of Deir Ezzor province.<\/p>\n The terrorists used vehicles, most of them were packed with large amounts of explosives, in their attack attempt, the source told SANA.<\/p>\n The Syrian Air Force, however, launched intensive airstrikes on the terrorists’ convoy of vehicles in the area surrounding the mountain, completely destroying the vehicles, according to the source, who pointed out that many terrorists were killed, while others were injured as a result of the airstrikes.<\/p>\n Daraa<\/span><\/p>\n An army unit destroyed a vehicle and fortifications for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the vicinity of the Electricity Company and to the west of the old Customs’ building in Daraa al-Balad.<\/p>\n Homs<\/span><\/p>\n “Emir of Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Rastan” killed<\/span><\/p>\n The Syrian Air Force launched Sunday morning strikes against gatherings of ISIS terrorists in Khneifees area, 40 km east of Homs city, according to the military source.<\/p>\n A number of terrorists were killed, others were injured and their vehicles, equipped with machine guns, were destroyed in the airstrikes.<\/p>\n ISIS terrorists suffered heavy losses in their ranks and equipment as a result of army airstrikes that targeted their movements and fortified positions in the surroundings of Jeb al-Jarrah area, 72 km east of Homs city.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, a source on the ground confirmed the death of the “Emir of Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Rastan”, the terrorist Mahmoud Abdul-Karim Brouq, along with 10 members of his group in a special army operation carried out in the area between al-Ghajar and al-Zara villages in Homs northern countryside.<\/p>\n Aleppo<\/span><\/p>\n An army unit thwarted an attempt by a terrorist group to infiltrate into the Provinces, SANA – The army destroys more weapons, vehicles and other equipment for terrorist organizations and kills many of their members in continued operations launched by its units and the Air Force.
