Lattakia, SANA-The cessation of hostilities\u00a0agreement has been violated five times by\u00a0terrorist groups on Saturday, raising the total\u00a0number of violations to 781 since the agreement\u00a0came into effect on 27 February, the Russian\u00a0coordination center said.<\/p>\n
The Russian center, based in Hmeimim airbase in\u00a0Lattakia, added in a statement that the so-called\u00a0Jaish al-Islam has violated four times the\u00a0agreement by targeting a number of towns in\u00a0Damascus Countryside with mortar shells.<\/p>\n
The Center pointed out that the number of towns\u00a0which have joined the agreement of the cessation\u00a0of hostilities has grown to 187.<\/p>\n
The statement said that the ISIS and Jabhat al-\u00a0Nusra terrorist organizations continue their\u00a0attempts to foil the agreement through firing\u00a0rocket and mortar shells against a number of town\u00a0and residential neighborhoods in the countryside\u00a0of Aleppo and Damascus.<\/p>\n
It added that units of the Syrian Army thwarted a\u00a0number of attacks with booby-trapped cars on\u00a0military posts in the northern countryside of\u00a0Aleppo.<\/p>\n
The cessation of hostilities agreement does not\u00a0cover ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and other groups\u00a0designated as terrorist organizations by the UN\u00a0Security Council.<\/p>\n
