Provinces, SANA\u00a0– The Syrian Arab Army continued carrying out counter-terrorism operations on Saturday, inflicting losses upon terrorist organizations in Homs, Quneitra, and Daraa provinces.<\/p>\n
Homs<\/span><\/p>\n A military source said that Army and Armed Forces unit destroyed four vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns used by ISIS terrorists in al-Mazbal village in the eastern countryside of Homs province.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, SANA’s correspondent in Homs reported that another army unit killed terrorist Ahmad Hasan Hamdan the leader of the so-called “Rejal Allah brigade” in al-Rastan area along with four members of his terrorist group.<\/p>\n Quneitra<\/span><\/p>\n Army and Armed Forces units killed a number of terrorists, injured others and destroyed their positions and vehicles which were loaded with arms and ammunition in Quneitra.<\/p>\n SANA reporter in Quneitra said that an army unit destroyed with a guided rocket a vehicle loaded with arms and ammunition for terrorist groups in the surroundings of the main square in Quneitra city.<\/p>\n Army units in cooperation with popular defense groups directed intensive strikes at dens and movements of terrorist groups at the outskirts of al-Samadaniyeh al-Gharbiyeh village and in al-Toloul al-Humr to the east of Hadar village.<\/p>\n The strikes killed a number of terrorists, injured others and destroyed their arms and munitions.<\/p>\n Later in the day, another army unit destroyed a vehicle carrying terrorists and ammunition on the road between Kafar Hour village and Beit Jen Farm between Damascus Countryside and Quneitra.<\/p>\n Daraa<\/span><\/p>\n An army unit carried out a military operation against Jabhat al-Nusra dens and fortified positions in al-Kark neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa Province.<\/p>\n A military source said that the terrorists’ vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns, were destroyed, and a number of them were killed during the operation. \nA number of terrorists were killed and a rocket launcher was destroyed in Jamrin village to the northeast of Busra al-Sham, according to the source.<\/p>\n
