Lattakia, SANA-The cessation of hostilities\u00a0agreement has been violated six times by terrorist\u00a0groups, raising the total number of violations to\u00a0819 since the agreement came into effect on 27\u00a0February, the Russian coordination center said on\u00a0Monday.<\/p>\n
The Russian center, based in Hmeimim airbase in\u00a0Lattakia, added in a statement that the so-called\u00a0Jaish al-Islam has violated the agreement six\u00a0times during the past 24 hours by targeting a\u00a0number of towns in the countryside of Damascus and\u00a0Idleb provinces.<\/p>\n
The statement added that 9 villages in Sweida and\u00a0Lattakia provinces have joined the agreement\u00a0raising the number to 218, while the number of the\u00a0terrorist groups which show commitment to the\u00a0agreement is 61.<\/p>\n
The statement said that the ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists continued their attempts to foil\u00a0the agreement, asserting that the so-called Jaish\u00a0al-Islam targeted with mortar and rocket shells a\u00a0number of villages in Damascus countryside.<\/p>\n
It added that the so-called Ahrar al-Sham\u00a0terrorist organization targeted al-Foua village in\u00a0the countryside of Idleb.<\/p>\n
The terrorist groups also targeted a number of\u00a0residential neighborhoods in Aleppo including Tal\u00a0Jabaqjeh area in the countryside of Aleppo.<\/p>\n
The cessation of hostilities agreement does not\u00a0cover ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and other groups\u00a0designated as terrorist organizations by the UN\u00a0Security Council.<\/p>\n
