Provinces, SANA_ The Syrian Army, backed by the air force, on Thursday continued heavy military operations on the fortified positions of the terrorist groups, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.<\/p>\n
Aleppo<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n A military source said that scores of positions and vehicles for terrorist groups\u00a0were destroyed during sorties by the Syrian Army Air Force against the axes of their movements in Aleppo, Homs, Hama and Idleb countryside.<\/p>\n The source explained in a statement to SANA that Syria’s army Air force carried out 26 sorties during which 101 strikes were directed against gatherings, positions and axes of movements of terrorist groups, killing scores of terrorists.<\/p>\n Army units in cooperation with the allied forces under air cover by the Syrian warplanes clashed with a terrorist group affiliated to the so-called Jaish al-Fateh which infiltrated to some military posts south west Aleppo.<\/p>\n The clashes ended by foiling the attack, destroying vehicles of terrorists, killing a\u00a0number of them and hunting their remnants in thearea.<\/p>\n The warplanes destroyed depots and two positions for Jabhat al-Nusrra terrorists in Khan al-Assal, Khan Touman and Uram al-Kubra and killed a number of them and injured others.<\/p>\n The military source said that air strikes targeted axes of movements of the so-called Jaish al-Fateh and destroyed a number of their vehicles in Kafar Hamra and al Mansoura in the southern and western countryside.<\/p>\n Takfiri terrorist organizations acknowledged that more than 120 of their members were killed, including leaders in the southern countryside of Aleppo during the past two days, whereas field reports affirmed that more than 800 terrorists were killed and hundreds others were injured including a number of Turkistan Islamic Party\u00a0members.<\/p>\n Homs <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Units of the army and armed forces carried out an operation against gatherings of the ISIS terrorist organization in the eastern countryside of Homs central province.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that units of the army destroyed hotbeds of the ISIS terrorists in the villages of Sallam Gharbi and Unq al-Hawa, 73 km to the east of Homs City.<\/p>\n Army units also destroyed ISIS gatherings and hideouts in Sallam Gharbi and Unq al-Hawa in the eastern countryside of Homs.<\/p>\n Another\u00a0army unit destroyed a position and a depot for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Kafar Lahha village in the northern countryside of Homs.<\/p>\n Hama<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Syrian army air force destroyed ISIS vehicles, some equipped with machineguns and loaded with terrorists east of Khanaser town in\u00a0the northeastern outskirts of Hama province.<\/p>\n The army killed a number of the ISIS members and injured others\u00a0after targeting their gatherings and movement axes east of the town.<\/p>\n Daraa<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n A military source said that mortar launchers and vehicles for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were destroyed and a number of terrorists were killed and others were injured in Daraa al-Balad where terrorists launch their attacks with shells on nearby neighborhoods and villages.<\/p>\n The source added in a statement to SANA that an army unit directed concentrated strikes on two terrorist groups whose members were fortifying positions, sweeping away the land and destroying houses in al-Abbasiyeh and Daraa al-Mahatta neighborhoods.<\/p>\n Most of the terrorists in both terrorist groups were killed along with their criminal tools which were destroyed.<\/p>\n Another army unit destroyed mortar launchers and motorcycles for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and killed a number of them in various areas in Daraa al-Balad.<\/p>\n Later on Thursday, an army unit killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and injured others during strikes against their gatherings to the east of al-Omari Mosque and east the post office building in Daraa al-Balad.<\/p>\n Quneitra<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n An army unit carried out a military operation against a terrorist group in the ruined part of Quneitra city, destroying a vehicle equipped with a machinegun and killing or injuring many of the terrorists.
