Damascus, SANA-Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad-the Commander-in-Chief of the army and armed forces-, Defense Minister , Lieutenant General Fahd Jasem al-Freij paid a field visit to inspect the army forces working in Aleppo.<\/p>\n

General Command of the army and armed forces said in a statement on Tuesday that During the visit, General al-Freij, also Deputy commander-in-Chief of the army and armed forces, listened to a detailed explanation, by field commanders, on the nature of the combat activities and the level of readiness to carry out the needed missions against terrorist organizations.<\/p>\n

The army’s general command added that Defense Minister affirmed to the army soldiers the determination of the army’s command to fulfill the process of securing Aleppo , defeating the terrorists and foiling their schemes.<\/p>\n

It concluded by saying that the army’s soldiers affirmed their readiness to do their best for the sake of Syria, its people and leader to achieve victory over enemies of Syria.<\/p>\n
