Lattakia, SANA The number of breaches of the\u00a0cessation of hostilities agreement by terrorist\u00a0groups in Syria has reached to 1090 since the\u00a0agreement came into effect on February 27th.<\/p>\n
The Hmeimim-based Russian center monitoring the\u00a0agreement announced that over the past 24 hours,\u00a0the terrorist groups breached the cessation of\u00a0hostilities nine more time in the provinces of\u00a0Damascus and Lattakia.<\/p>\n
The center added in a statement that terrorists\u00a0from the so-called Jaish al-Islam attacked with\u00a0mortar shells a number of towns and areas in\u00a0Damascus while terrorist groups linked to the so-called Ahrar al-Sham shelled a number of towns\u00a0in the northern countryside of Lattakia.<\/p>\n
It indicated that terrorists from the ISIS and\u00a0Jabhat al-Nusra are still trying to prevent the\u00a0cessation of hostilities agreement from being\u00a0applied on the ground through shelling a number of\u00a0towns and neighborhoods in Aleppo and its\u00a0countryside.<\/p>\n
Five new towns in Damascus and Lattakia have\u00a0joined the agreement of the cessation of\u00a0hostilities in Syria as the number of towns and\u00a0areas which joined the agreement reached at 476,\u00a0according to the center.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the center said that a Russian\u00a0plane delivered more than17 tons of humanitarian\u00a0aid to a number of areas in Deir Ezzor which are\u00a0besieged by the ISIS terrorists.<\/p>\n
The cessation of hostilities agreement doesn’t\u00a0include ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra or other groups\u00a0designated as terrorist organizations by the UN\u00a0Security Council.<\/p>\n
