Lattakia, SANA-The Hmeimim-based Russian\u00a0Coordination Center monitoring the cessation of\u00a0hostilities agreement in Syria announced that over\u00a0the past 24 hours, the terrorist groups breached\u00a0the agreement 5 more times as the total number of\u00a0the breaches since the agreement came into force\u00a0reached 1153.<\/p>\n
The center added in a statement on Sunday that\u00a0terrorists of the so-called Jaish al-Islam\u00a0attacked with mortar shells a number of towns in\u00a0Damascus and its Countryside, and terrorist groups\u00a0affiliated of the so-called al-Qafqaz targeted the\u00a0village of al-Zoweikat in the northern countryside\u00a0of Lattakia.<\/p>\n
6 new areas in Lattakia province have joined the\u00a0cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria as the\u00a0total number of the towns and areas which joined\u00a0the agreement reached 554, according to the\u00a0Russian center.<\/p>\n
The statement stressed that Jabhat al-Nusra and\u00a0ISIS terrorists continue their attempts to foil\u00a0the agreement as they targeted the neighborhoods\u00a0and towns of Damascus, Aleppo, Daraa and Hama.<\/p>\n
The cessation of hostilities agreement doesn’t\u00a0include ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra or other groups\u00a0designated as terrorist organizations by the UN\u00a0Security Council.<\/p>\n
