{"id":88650,"date":"2016-09-22T10:44:36","date_gmt":"2016-09-22T07:44:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=88650"},"modified":"2016-09-22T10:44:36","modified_gmt":"2016-09-22T07:44:36","slug":"thursday-weather-temperatures-to-drop-rain-falls-in-coastal-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=88650","title":{"rendered":"Thursday weather: temperatures to drop, rain falls\u00a0in coastal region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become\u00a0lower than average from 1 to 3 degrees as the\u00a0country is still being affected by a superficial\u00a0low air pressure accompanied by southwestern\u00a0relatively cold and wet air currents in the upper<br \/>\nlayers of the atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>The Meteorology Department expected in its\u00a0Thursday bulletin that the skies are between clear\u00a0and partly cloudy in general and misty in the\u00a0eastern areas and al-Badia (desert).<\/p>\n<p>Local rain showers are expected above the coastal\u00a0heights and the northwesterly areas.<\/p>\n<p>The winds are western and southwestern on moderate\u00a0speed, while the sea waves are of low to moderate\u00a0amplitude.<\/p>\n<p>Rain falls in a number of coastal areas in Tartous\u00a0and Lattakia provinces. The heaviest rain amounts\u00a0reached 6mm in Hammam Wasel in Tartous and in al-Haffeh in Lattakia.<\/p>\n<p>The expected temperatures in some main Syrian\u00a0cities are as follows: Damascus 31\/16, Daraa\u00a030\/15, Homs 29\/16, Hama 32\/18, Lattakia 28\/22,\u00a0Aleppo 31\/17 and Deir Ezzor 36\/18.<\/p>\n<p>H.
