Deir Ezzor, SANA – Aircrafts of the US-led\u00a0international coalition launched strikes on two\u00a0main bridges on the Euphrates River in the countryside of the eastern\u00a0Deir Ezzor province.<\/p>\n
SANA reporter in Deir Ezzor said Wednesday that\u00a0the strikes resulted in the destruction of al-Asharah Bridge that links the river’s two banks in the eastern\u00a0countryside of the province only few hours after\u00a0destroying al-Mayadin Bridge.<\/p>\n
The destruction of the two bridges aims at\u00a0disconnecting the areas located on both banks of\u00a0the river, the reporter noted.<\/p>\n
The coalition, which claims to be fighting ISIS\u00a0terrorist organization, has repeatedly targeted\u00a0the Syrian infrastructure with the aim to deliberately\u00a0inflict damage on sites and facilities in the\u00a0country.<\/p>\n
Late last year, the coalition’s aircrafts\u00a0destroyed two electricity plants in al-Radwaniyeh\u00a0area and water pumping stations in al-Khafseh area, east of Aleppo, in\u00a0addition to claiming hundreds of civilian lives.<\/p>\n
In a latest targeting that took place on September\u00a017th, the coalition hit a position for the Syrian\u00a0Arab Army in Thardah Mountain in Deir Ezzor, paving the way for
