The Ministry said in a statement on Monday the USA\u00a0State Department’s statement on the unilateral\u00a0curtailment of joint work to resolve the crisis in Syria is a\u00a0cause of deep disappointment.<\/p>\n
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria\u00a0Zakharova said Washington has not fulfilled its\u00a0obligations of the agreement and now tries to blame Russia.<\/p>\n

\ngroups sabotaged the former cessation of\u00a0hostilities agreement, while the American side did not support the\u00a0willingness of Russia to declare in this area a\u00a0new 72-hour “humanitarian pause” in hostilities.<\/p>\n
The statement said it is noted that the Syrian\u00a0government was ready to take this step, and three\u00a0weeks ago started to withdraw, but Washington could not then and\u00a0would not now ensure that the same is done by the\u00a0“opposition” groups under its control, and that it is not known\u00a0whether that is because the US is really\u00a0indifferent to the humanitarian needs of the Syrian people,\u00a0exploiting this theme purely for political

The Ministry reiterated that the United States\u00a0never exerted real pressure on Jabhat al-Nusra\u00a0terrorist organization, adding that Washington decision\u00a0reflects the failure of Barack Obama\u00a0administration to fulfill a key condition for continuing cooperation.<\/p>\n
