Provinces, SANA – The army units and Air Force continued operations against terrorist organizations in provinces\u00a0across the country, targeting the terrorists’ movements, positions and vehicles in some areas and foiling in their attacks and infiltration attempts in others.<\/p>\n
Aleppo<\/span><\/p>\n The Syrian Air Force killed many terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in al-Rashidin neighborhood, to the east of Orum al-Sughra, Abu Shailem, Qabtan al-Jabal and Khan Touman in the countryside of Aleppo province.<\/p>\n Homs<\/span><\/p>\n SANA reporter said that terrorist Faisal Awad, one leader of Ahrar al-Cham, and a number of terrorists were killed in a special army operation in Ayn Hussein village near Talbeisah in Homs northern countryside.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that a unit of the army clashed with members of a terrorist group who were trying to infiltrate into al-Mishrfeh village to the north-east side on Homs.<\/p>\n The clashes ended up with foiling the infiltration attempt and killing all members of the terrorist group as well as destroying a vehicle equipped with a heavy machine gun.<\/p>\n Earlier, the Syrian Air Force destroyed a number of vehicles and positions for ISIS terrorists in the surroundings of al-Shaer field and in Rahoum, Um al-Reesh and to the north of Abu al-Alaya in the eastern countryside of Homs province, according to a military source.<\/p>\n Later,\u00a0SANA reporter in Homs said that army units targeted sites and movements for \u201cAhrar al-Sham\u201d terrorists in al-Sa’an area in the northern countryside of Homs, destroying 2 pickups trucks equipped with machineguns and killing number of terrorists, including Ahmad al-Shalha, Hasan al-Tayeb, Fadi al-Nassar, and Assi al-Omar.<\/p>\n Hama & Idleb<\/span><\/p>\n Army and Armed Forces units killed a number of \u201cJaish al-Fateh\u201d terrorists, including a Jabhat al-Nusra leader who named Mehdi al-Abed, and destroyed four vehicles and a pickup car in al-Latamina, Mourek and Kafar Zita in the northern countryside of Hama province, a military source told SANA.<\/p>\n The source added that other army units destroyed 3 vehicles equipped with machine guns belonging to \u201cJaish al-Fatah\u201d terrorists in Tibet al-Imam and Souran in the province’s countryside.<\/p>\n In Idleb province, an army unit targeted terrorists\u2019 gatherings and movements in Khan Sheikhon to the south of Idleb city, killing number of terrorists, injuring others and destroying their vehicles, according to the military source.<\/p>\n The source added that the Syrian Air Force launched airstrikes on terrorists\u2019 gatherings in Maartamsarin town to the north of Idleb city, destroying mortar launching pads and vehicles some of them equipped with heavy machineguns.<\/p>\n Later, the source said that army units destroyed a number armored vehicles and vehicles equipped with machineguns in Khan Sheikhon, Soran, the area surrounding Tal Bazam, al-Latamina and Tar\u2019a in the countryside of Hama and Idleb.<\/p>\n Sweida<\/span><\/p>\n An Army and Armed Forces unit thwarted an attack by ISIS terrorists who were attempting to infiltrate from al-Ghbeib valley towards Tal Bouthaina hill in the northeastern countryside of Sweida province.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that the army unit targeted the terrorists’ movements with precision fire, leaving the terrorists dead or wounded, and destroying their equipment.<\/p>\n Later, the source said that another army unit eliminated most members of a terrorist group in al-Lajat area in the province’s northern countryside.<\/p>\n Daraa<\/span><\/p>\n In Daraa province, army units killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed their fortifications in al-Arbaeen neighborhood and the surroundings of the old customs building in Daraa al-Balad area.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Provinces, SANA – The army units and Air Force continued operations against terrorist organizations in provinces\u00a0across the country, targeting the terrorists’ movements, positions and vehicles in some areas and foiling in their attacks and infiltration attempts in others.
