Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry spokesman\u00a0Igor Konashenkov said that at least 30 terrorists\u00a0from Jabhat al-Nusra were killed in the Russian\u00a0air forces airstrikes on their fortifications in\u00a0Idleb province.<\/p>\n
Russian Su-33 carrier-based fighter jets and air\u00a0group of the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier\u00a0carried out airstrikes on Jabhat al-Nusra\u00a0gatherings and fortifications in Idleb province,\u00a0killing more than 30 terrorists.<\/p>\n
Three field commanders were among the dead,\u00a0Konashenkov said, adding that “the well-known\u00a0commanders were Muhammad Hilala, Abu Jaber and the\u00a0nicknamed Abul Baha Al-Asfari.”<\/p>\n
Eliminated field commander Abul Baha al-Asfari\u00a0was in charge of uniting the remaining reserves of\u00a0Jabhat al-Nusra groupings in the provinces of\u00a0Aleppo and Hama, Konashenkov said.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, The Defense Ministry revealed that\u00a0Russia’s aircraft carrier, the Admiral Kuznetsov\u00a0in addition to Frigate Admiral Grigorovich started\u00a0a large-scale military operation against the\u00a0positions of Jabhat al-Nusra and the ISIS\u00a0terrorist organizations in the countryside of Homs\u00a0and Idleb provinces.<\/p>\n
