New York, SANA – The UN General Assembly, once\u00a0again, adopted a resolution demanding the Israeli\u00a0occupation to withdraw from the whole occupied\u00a0Syrian Golan to the line of June 4th, 1967\u00a0according to the UN Security Council relevant
\nresolutions.<\/p>\n
In a resolution titled the Syrian Golan which\u00a0was proposed under the item the state in the\u00a0Middle East, the UNGA condemned Israel’s non-obedience till now to the Security Council\u00a0resolution No. 497 for 1981, stressing that\u00a0Israel’s decision issued on December 14th, 1981 to\u00a0impose its laws, administration and custody on the\u00a0occupied Syrian Golan is null and void which has\u00a0no legality at all.<\/p>\n
The UNGA resolution, which was adopted by\u00a0overwhelming majority, reaffirmed the basic\u00a0principle of disallowing acquiring territories\u00a0through force, in light of the internal law, the\u00a0UN Charter and Geneva Convention on the protection\u00a0of civilians during war in the occupied Syrian\u00a0Golan.<\/p>\n
During the UNGA session, a number of states\u00a0condemned the Israeli practices in the occupied\u00a0Syrian Golan, calling on Israel to withdraw from\u00a0Golan into the line of June 4th, 1967. 37 states\u00a0proposed the draft resolution and this stresses\u00a0the big support to the issue of restoring the\u00a0occupied Syrian Golan to the line of June 4,\u00a01967.<\/p>\n
