{"id":95597,"date":"2016-12-08T15:08:00","date_gmt":"2016-12-08T12:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=95597"},"modified":"2016-12-08T21:08:19","modified_gmt":"2016-12-08T18:08:19","slug":"army-units-foil-isis-terrorists-attack-on-military-posts-in-palmyra-eliminate-terrorists-in-daraa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=95597","title":{"rendered":"Updated-Army units foil ISIS terrorists attack on military posts in Palmyra, Advance in Aleppo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Provinces, SANA &#8211; Army units thwarted Thursday an attack by ISIS terrorist groups on military posts in<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> Palmyra area<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>A military source said that the army units clashed with ISIS terrorist groups attacked a number of military posts in the vicinity of Palmyra, Gazel and \u00a0al-Shaer oil fields, Zamleh, al-Katibeh al-Mahjoura (desolated brigade)and al-Bardeh village to the southwestern of Homs Province.<\/p>\n<p>The source added that the clash resulted in killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying 4 booby-trapped vehicles and 4 SUVs equipped with machineguns.<\/p>\n<p>Army units targeted a gathering of terrorists from the so-called &#8220;Ahrar al-Sham&#8221; in al-Ghanto village in Talbisa area in the northern countryside of<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> Homs<\/span>, according to SANA reporter.<\/p>\n<p>The reporter added that about 20 terrorists were killed or injured in the operation and that a mortar and two SUV cars were destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>He pointed that the terrorists: Tariq al-Ahdab, Mohammad Abdul-Rahman Lola, Tahir al-Asmar, Hassan al-Hassan and Seif Eddin al-Omar were among dead.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Aleppo\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Units of army, in cooperation with the backing forces, continued their advance in Eastern Aleppo and established control on a number of buildings and farms in al-Sheikh Said region.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Daraa\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>An army unit targeted gatherings of terrorists on the northern and western outskirts of al-Nazihin Camp in Daraa al-Balad area in the southern Daraa province, killing a number of them, according to the\u00a0military source.<\/p>\n<p>The source added that a number of terrorists\u2019 fortifications were destroyed in al-Bajabja neighborhood, in addition to destroying a fortified monitoring position to the south of Khazan al-Kark in Daraa al-Balad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Provinces, SANA &#8211; Army units thwarted Thursday an attack by ISIS terrorist groups on military posts in Palmyra area.
