He holds a university degree in Medicine (Damascus University, 1987) and a master&#8217;s degree in Gynecology and Obstetrics (1991).<\/p>\n<p>He served as Director of Primary Health Care Department in Jassem city in Daraa (1997-2000), Chief of the Syrian Doctors Syndicate (2010) and Minister of Health (2011).<\/p>\n<p>He was appointed Prime Minister on August 9, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>He is married with four children.<\/p>\n<p>H.
