Damascus, SANA- Temperatures remain lower than\u00a0average from 3 to 5 degrees as the country is\u00a0affected by a low air pressure accompanied by\u00a0northwestern air currents in the upper layers of\u00a0the atmosphere.<\/p>\n
Rains fell in number of provinces, while the\u00a0heaviest rain amounts were 66 in Hasaka, and the\u00a0thickness of snow reached 12 cm in Erneh and 30cm\u00a0in Serghaya in Damascus countryside.<\/p>\n
Rain bulletin issued by the Ministry of\u00a0Agriculture and Agrarian Reforms said that the
\namounts of the rain in the Syrian provinces during\u00a0the past 24 hours to 7 o’clock this morning were\u00a0as follows: Damascus and its countryside 28mm,\u00a0Sweida 17,5mm, Daraa 10mm, Quneitra 23,5mm, Homs\u00a016mm, Hama15mm, Tartous 10mm, Lattakia 12mm and\u00a0Hasaka 66mm .<\/p>\n
The Meteorology department expected in its\u00a0Thursday bulletin that the skies will be between\u00a0clear to partly cloudy in general, rain showers\u00a0mixed with snow are expected in al-Jazira area.<\/p>\n
The department said that the weather will be cold\u00a0at night, warning against formation of frost at\u00a0the mountainous and the inland areas. The winds\u00a0are western to northwestern of low to moderate\u00a0speed, while the sea waves will be low to moderate
\nin amplitude.<\/p>\n
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian\u00a0cities are as follows: Damascus 07-03, Daraa\u00a008\/04, Homs 07\/00, Hama 09\/01, Lattakia 13\/06,\u00a0Aleppo 09\/-1 and Deir Ezzor 06\/01.<\/p>\n
