Tehran, SANA_ Participants in the 30th\u00a0International Islamic Unity Conference held in\u00a0Tehran congratulated the Syrian and Iraqi peoples\u00a0for their victory on the Takfiri terrorist\u00a0organizations, expressing hope that the two\u00a0countries will be cleared of terrorists soon.<\/p>\n
In a statement issued Saturday evening at the end\u00a0of the conference entitled Unity and Necessity of\u00a0Confrontation with Takfiri Movements, the\u00a0participants called upon the Islamic scholars to\u00a0condemn those Takfiri terrorists, warning against\u00a0the Takfiri terrorism’ serious dangers on the\u00a0Palestinian cause .<\/p>\n
The statement stressed that those who created the\u00a0Takfirist currents aim to distort the firmness and\u00a0the struggle of the Islamic and national\u00a0resistance for the Palestinian cause.<\/p>\n
It denounced the Takfiri fatwas and proposed the\u00a0foundation of the international organization of\u00a0modern Islamic civilization whose mission is\u00a0spreading the future civilized ideology of the\u00a0Islamic nation.<\/p>\n
The participants re-elected Syria’s Grand Mufti\u00a0Ahmad Badr-Eddin Hassoun for another 3 years as\u00a0Head of the General Assembly of the Complex of\u00a0Rapprochement among Islamic Sects.<\/p>\n
The 30th International Islamic Unity Conference\u00a0kicked off in Tehran Thursday morning with the\u00a0participation of Syria’s Grand Mufti Ahmad Badr-Eddin Hassoun and the presence of Syria’s\u00a0Ambassador to Iran Dr. Adnan Mahmod.<\/p>\n
