Provinces, SANA-\u00a0Army units,\u00a0backed by the supporting forces, established full
\ncontrol over the 3rd abandoned battalion in Tadmur\u00a0(Palmyra) area and continued advancing towards Tal\u00a0al-Dabe’ in the countryside of Homs<\/span> and Damascus.<\/p>\n

A military source told SANA that army units\u00a0established full control over the 3rd abandoned\u00a0battalion, located to the north of Elab al-Tayas hills in\u00a0Palmyra area in the eastern countryside of Homs\u00a0province after eliminating a number of ISIS terrorists and\u00a0destroying their weapons.<\/p>\n

The source added that the army units continued\u00a0their operations in the area and chased fleeing\u00a0ISIS terrorists towards Jehar intersection eastward.<\/p>\n

Later in the day, the source said that army units targeted ISIS gatherings and fortified positions in al-Awamid hill, al-Bardeh, and the hills of Mahsa village southeast of al-Qaryateen, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammo.<\/p>\n

In the northeastern countryside of Damascus, the\u00a0source said an army unit killed all members of a terrorist group affiliated to ISIS, destroyed a\u00a0tank and a vehicle equipped with heavy machinegun\u00a0and seized weapons that were in the terrorists’\u00a0possession as it targeted their position to the\u00a0east of al- Seen airport.<\/p>\n

Earlier today, the army units eliminated scores of\u00a0ISIS terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition after targeting their fortifications\u00a0and movements in the direction of al-Nassiriyeh-al-Qaryateen towns in the eastern countryside of
\nDamascus and the southeastern countryside of Homs.<\/p>\n

The source added that the army units in\u00a0cooperation with the supporting forces continued\u00a0their operations against the ISIS terrorist organization and chased
\nits members who fled away, achieving advance\u00a0towards Tal al-Dabe’ al-Sharqi in the area.<\/p>\n

Deir Ezzor<\/span><\/p>\n

The Army Air Force carried out a series of airstrikes against the ISIS positions in the surroundings of Deir Ezzor city.<\/p>\n

SANA reporter said Sunday that the army airstrikes targeted the ISIS fortifications and movement axes in al-Howeiqa, Haweijet Saker, Aiyash warehouses, and al-Rushdiyeh neighborhood and in the surroundings of the Panorama, al-Thardeh and Deir Ezzor Airport.<\/p>\n

The source added that a number of ISIS terrorists were killed and injured in the army airstrikes in addition to destroying their positions and vehicles, some equipped with heavy machineguns.<\/p>\n

Moreover,\u00a0warplanes of the Syrian Army killed more than 30 ISIS terrorists in al-Tharda mountain, Mostodaat(warehouses) Ayash, to the east of the Airport and to the northwest of Tal Borouk in Deir Ezzor Province.<\/p>\n

Hama<\/span><\/p>\n

The Syrian Air Force killed more than\u00a015 terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other
\nterrorist groups affiliated to it in the northern\u00a0countryside of Hama.<\/p>\n

A military source told SANA that Syrian airstrikes\u00a0targeted gatherings and fortifications of Jabhat\u00a0al- Nusra in al-Latamina, Kafr Zita, al-Lahaya and\u00a0Tibet al-Imam, killing more than 15 terrorists,\u00a0injuring tens others and destroying 3 pick-up cars.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
