{"id":12475,"date":"2014-09-08T14:00:22","date_gmt":"2014-09-08T11:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=12475"},"modified":"2014-09-08T14:00:44","modified_gmt":"2014-09-08T11:00:44","slug":"over-45000-children-vaccinated-against-polio-in-homs-during-recent-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/fa\/?p=12475","title":{"rendered":"Over 45,000 children vaccinated against polio in Homs during recent campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Homs, SANA \u2013 Over 45,000 children were vaccinated during the recent national anti-polio vaccination campaign for children under five.<\/p>\n<p>Head of Healthcare Department at Homs Health Directorate Abdul-Momen Qashaq told SANA that the campaign, which finished Thursday, targeted children in needy areas which are \u201cunsafe\u201d who did not benefit from previous campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>Displaced children who came from other provinces and are living at makeshift centers, in addition to children in Badia, Hassia, Palmyra and Mukharram countryside were reached during the campaign.<br \/>\nQashaq noted that the campaign was expected to include 65,000 children, but there were difficulties to access certain areas due to the security situation areas such as al-Houla, stressing that 5000 anti-polio doses were sent to al-Waer area to cover the needs there.<\/p>\n<p>R.
