Provinces, (SANA)<\/span> Units of the army and the armed forces carried out Sunday several successful operations against the armed terrorist groups in many areas, eliminating a number of terrorists.<\/p>\n

A military source told SANA that army units, in cooperation with the national defense forces,\u00a0 restored security and stability to the city of Kassab, in Lattakia<\/span> countryside, after eliminating a huge number of terrorists and destroying their weapons.<\/span><\/p>\n

The source added that the engineering units are dismantling the mines and the explosive devices planted by the armed terrorist groups in the city.<\/span><\/p>\n

A military source told SANA that an army unit also restored security and stability to the village of Um Sharshouh and the adjacent farms in Homs<\/span> countryside after eliminating terrorists’ gatherings in the village.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Aleppo<\/span>, units of the army and the armed forces destroyed an ammunition depot in Kafr Hamra, in Aleppo countryside and eliminated a number of terrorists inside it. <\/span><\/p>\n

A number of terrorists’ gatherings were also targeted as their cars with all weapons and terrorists inside were destroyed in several areas of Aleppo countryside. <\/span><\/p>\n

The source added army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in several areas in Homs countryside, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weaponry.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A military source told SANA that army units eliminated a number of terrorists and injured others in Saida town, surrounding the National Hospital in Tafas in Daraa<\/span> countryside and destroyed their weaponry.<\/span><\/p>\n

A number of terrorists’ vehicles, some equipped with heavy machineguns, were destroyed in Daraa and surroundings as a number of terrorists were killed and wounded.<\/p>\n

A military source told SANA that the army units destroyed terrorists’ den in Kafer Battikh in Idleb<\/span> countryside eliminating a number of so-called al-Jabha al-Isamiah (Islamic Front) who were holed up inside the den.<\/p>\n

A number of vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns were also destroyed.<\/p>\n
