Provinces, SANA – The army units defending Division\u00a017 area in Raqqa<\/span> were successfully redeployed in preparation for dealing with\u00a0the armed terrorist groups in the vicinity of Raqqa<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Terrorists from the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) suffered heavy losses as they were trying to attack a military unit in the south of Hasaka<\/span>, SANA reporter in the province said.<\/p>\n

As a result, the reporter added, the ISIS terrorists retreated more than 15 kilometers back towards the south of Hasaka city near al-Arisheh area, according to witnesses.<\/p>\n

The witnesses told the reporter that a Chechen terrorists nicknamed Abu Omar was leading hundreds of terrorists, most of them were non-Syrians, who attempted to launch the attack in the city.<\/p>\n

In a relevant context, the reporter quoted a source in the province as saying that army units and national defense forces repelled last night an attack launched by a group of terrorists against the building of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party in the city.<\/p>\n

The source explained that a number of terrorists wearing explosive belts sneaked into the building and set ablaze a number of offices before the members of the army and the national defense forces intervened and killed all the terrorists inside.<\/p>\n

During the attack, the source added, a number of the terrorists blew themselves up inside the building.<\/p>\n

Number of persons were martyred in the explosion, including Hanna Atallah, member of the Baath Party Leadership of Hasaka Branch, according to the source.<\/p>\n

A military source told SANA that the army units targeted Friday gatherings for terrorists in Mugher al-Meer and in the vicinity of villas street in Khan al-Sheeh in Damascus<\/span> countryside, killing and injuring a number of them.<\/p>\n

An army unit killed numbers of terrorists, among them a leader of a terrorist group, during a series of operations against their dens in eastern Ghouta, Zabadani mountains and Qalamoun region in Damascus western and northern countryside.<\/strong><\/p>\n

SANA field reporter said an army unit killed “Jalal the English”, a leader of a terrorist group and several of his group’s members, destroying their ordnance and a car laded with a heavy machinegun with all the terrorists inside in Erbin town.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, dens for terrorists were razed to the ground in Joubar neighborhood, with several terrorists getting killed and others wounded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Douma, terrorists were killed during an army accurate operation against a den for terrorists in Alia farms. The terrorists Ezzo al-Shayeb and Mohammad Saryoul were among the dead.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the meantime, an army unit destroyed weapons and ammunitions for an armed terrorist group on the outskirts of al-Maliha town, killing several of its members, of which Mohammad Tou’ma and Hussam al-Salik were known.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Terrorists were also killed during similar operations in al-Neshabiyeh farms deep into eastern Ghouta.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Zabadani, an army unit carried out an operation in Hurayra villages, destroying a hideout for terrorists and killing and wounding members of an armed terrorist group, among them Mazan al-Hennawi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Army units also pursued terrorist groups in Qalamoun mountains on the Syrian-Lebanese borders, killing many terrorists and wounding others in al-Mesherfeh, Ras al-Maarra and Essal al-Ward towns.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The army units also killed and wounded dozens of terrorists in a number of areas of the countryside of Daraa<\/span> and destroyed their criminal tools and vehicles.<\/p>\n

The army units foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate towards Rajim al-Shour and Ghornata Oil Station in Daraa countryside, killing many of them and injuring others, in addition to destroying 4 cars equipped with heavy machineguns.<\/p>\n

According to a military source, the army units targeted terrorists gatherings in Rasm al-Dhaher in al-Lajat area, Dael, Atman, Dahyat al-Yarmouk in Daraa countryside, killing and wounding a number of them and destroying weapons and ammunition in their possession.<\/p>\n

The army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Homs<\/span> countryside, killing and injuring many of them, in addition to destroying their weapons and vehicles.<\/p>\n

A military source told SANA that an army unit killed and injured a nukber of terrorists in the area surrounding al-Sha’er mountain and destroyed two armored cars and a bulldozer which were used by terrorists in their acts.<\/p>\n

The source added that another army unit stormed a terrorists convoy while it was moving from Jazal well to al-Sha’err mountain, inflicting heavy losses upon them.<\/p>\n

In the same context, the army units targeted terrorists in Taldo, Deir al-Foul, Ein Hussein, Hawsh Hajo, al-Sa’an, killing and injuring scores of them.<\/p>\n

During sweeping the Old City of Homs, the authorities uncovered a den for terrorists that was found to include a locally-made rocket launcher, a mortar and a 14.5 caliber machine gun.<\/p>\n

In Aleppo<\/span>, the army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in several areas in the city and its countryside, eliminating and wounding a number of them.<\/p>\n

A military source said that other units destroyed a number of vehicles with all terrorists inside them in \u00a0Andan, al-Jandoul, Ard al-Mallah, al-Jaberieh, Haritan, Ma’aret al-Arteeq, Babis and al-Mansoura.<\/p>\n

In Idleb,\u00a0 unit of the armed forces killed all members of an armed terrorist group and seized their weapons in Kafr lata in Ariha area in the countryside.<\/p>\n

Another unit destroyed a den for terrorists near Nahleh village, leaving many of them dead and wounded.<\/p>\n

Numbers of terrorists got killed or wounded as army units targeted their gatherings in Haloul, Kafr Najd, Dames, Nahleh and Kafr Zibeh in the countryside.<\/p>\n
