Damascus, SANA \u2013Caretaker Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Dr. Khodr Orfali stressed the Government’s keenness on the participation of all the economic institutions, regardless of their type, in pushing the wheel of the Syrian economy \u00a0forwards.<\/p>\n
“The Syrian economy in the next stage will be the economy of unleashing potentials,” the Caretaker Minister said.<\/p>\n
In a statement to SANA, Orfali added “Recently, the ministry has carried out a comprehensive analysis of the Syrian economy which showed many of the indications reflecting the economic situation in different economic domains.”<\/p>\n
He pointed out that a special worksheet representing an integrated strategic program was prepared, “in which we benefit from the pros and cons of the stage before the crisis, and we try to shift the circumstances of the crisis into a chance for a real reform, particularly in the economic domain.”<\/p>\n
Orfali said that the strategic program will be divided into three stages, the first of which includes “analyzing the current economic situation”, the second includes “setting a number of basic projects that could handle some of the economic difficulties”, while the third includes the execution through specialized work teams.<\/p>\n
He added that the strategic projects will achieve a qualitative leap in the economic and social life in Syria.<\/p>\n
