Moscow calls for respecting Syria sovereignty in the war against ISIS

Moscow, SANA-Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called for the necessity of respecting Syria sovereignty in the war against so-called “Islamic State in Iraq and Sham” terrorist organization.

“Lavrov affirmed during a call phone with his US counterpart John Kerry the importance of respecting the international relations and conventions to form an international coalition in addition to the military action,” A source at the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.

Earlier, Lavrov underscored at a press conference that his country supports Syria and Iraq in their struggle against terrorist gunmen.
