Damascus, SANA –Against all odds, a new airline will see light soon with the aim of running regular and urgent flights to all spots that are economically profitable.

Director of the Syrian Tourism Company, Nasser Qaidaban, told SANA that the Company’s board of directors agreed on establishing a commercial tourist airline company with a capital of USD 3 million.

The company, named Fly Syria, will start with two passenger planes and a cargo plane. The goal is for the company’s fleet to reach a total of 40 aircrafts.
