Wefaq Bazaar in Old Tartou City Showcases 55 Syrian Artisans

Tartous, SANA- “Wefaq Bazaar” has opened in the historic heart of Tartous, transforming the city’s ancient hall into a vibrant venue for Syrian handicrafts and folklore.

Organized by the Syrian“ Wefaq” Association in cooperation with the Craftsmen’s Union, the event brings together more than 55 male and female artisans presenting a wide range of creations, from traditional crafts to contemporary handmade works.

Organizers said that the bazaar aims to connect the past with the present by celebrating skills passed down through generations and highlighting the creative depth of Syria’s cultural heritage.

The displays include textiles, embroidery, pottery, woodwork, and decorative arts, offering visitors an immersive experience of the country’s artisanal traditions.
