Riyadh, SANA- Minister of Economy and Industry, Mohammad Nidal al-Shaar, discussed with a delegation from the Syrian-Saudi Business Council ways to enhance economic cooperation between Syria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting, held in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, addressed the challenges facing investors and the available opportunities to enhance joint investments between the two sides. It also focused on vital priority sectors that offer promising opportunities for investors in the coming period.
The Minister stressed the importance of overcoming obstacles facing businessmen, referring to the Syrian government’s commitment to creating an attractive investment environment that supports partnerships between the public and private sectors.
Minister al-Shaar arrived in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, heading an official delegation, to participate in a roundtable meeting to strengthen economic relations and trade exchange between the two countries.
