Bangkok, SANA- Syria’s triathlon player Kareem Abu Samra won a gold medal in the TriDash Bangkok/ Asian Triathlon Championship held in the Thai capital of Bangkok with the participation of 17 countries.

Player Osama Khoja came at 5th place while players Mohamed al-Sabbagh, Mohamed Maso and Ahmad Mardynli came at 8th, 14th and 22th places respectively.

Triathlon is a multiple-stage competition that involves swimming, cycling, and running in immediate succession over various distances.
