Damascus, SANA –Five civilians were injured on Thursday due to a terrorist attack with mortar shells fired from al-Hajar al-Aswadon the residential houses of Old al-Zahera and Sheikh Mohieddin neighborhoods.
A source at Damascus Police Command said that the terrorists positioned in the northern part of al-Hajar al-Aswad to the south of Damascus fired several mortar shells. One of the mortars landed on Souq al-Jo’maa, while the other landed on Old al-Zahera,injuring civilians and causing material damage.
