Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry on Friday announced that 44 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 8 coronavirus patients recovered and 5 others passed away.
The Ministry added in a statement that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria till now has reached up to 25,035, of which 21,717 have recovered, while 1,837 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was registered on the 29th of the same month.
