ISIS terrorists blow up al-Rawi Tekkiye in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor, SANA – Terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) exploded on Tuesday Sheikh al-Rawi Tekkiye (hospice ), well-known as a historic edifice, in al-Sheikh Yaseen neighborhood in Deir Ezzor.

The attack comes in a series of ISIS systemized aggressions on the Islamic and Christian sites in Syria.

Civil sources told SANA that the terrorists booby-trapped the Tekkiye site, which dates back to the 19th century, planting a quantity of explosives around it which led to the destruction the whole place.

Sheikh al-Rawi Tekkiye was built in 1886, to be center for teaching and worship.
