Manamah, SANA-Syrian al-Jaish football team qualified to the groups stage of the Asian Federation Cup for 2015 after beating Palestinian al-Hilal 5/4 in the kick off penalties after time extension during their game held on Tuesday in Bahrain.
The original and additional time of the match ended by 0/0.
Al-Jaish team will join the 4th group which gathers al-Kuawiti from Kuwait, al-Rifaa from Bahrian and al-Najmah from Lebanon.
The first and second teams will qualify to the 16 stage.
Al-Jaish was crowned the hero of the first championship of 2004.
