Abu Dhabi, SANA- Syrian Karate team won two gold medals in addition to one silver and another bronze on the first day of the West Asian Karate Championship being held in UAE with a participation of numerous Arab states, along with Syria.
Marya al-Hallawi and Layal Selman were the two athletes who obtained the gold medals.The silver one was gained by athlete Abdu Kareem al-Halawi, while the bronze was for Sameer Qabbani.
