Syria, WHO discuss cooperation to boost health sector

Damascus, SANA- Syria and World Health Organization(WHO) discussed Wednesday cooperation in the health field.

That was during a meeting between Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister in the caretaker government, Dr. Abdel Moneim Abdel Hafez, and WHO Regional Director for Eastern Mediterranean, Dr. Hanan Balkhi.

During the meeting, they discussed bolstering cooperation in health field, in addition to support university hospitals with the medical and technical equipment and necessary supplies.
