Communications Ministry, “Automata4” Company discuss development of electronic platforms

Damascus, SANA- Directorate of Technical Knowledge at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology discussed with “Automata4,” a company specializing in software and application development, during a virtual meeting Monday, ways to improve the provided services through the development of electronic platforms.

In a statement to SANA, Khaled al-Homsi, Director of the Technical Knowledge Directorate at the Ministry of Communications, explained that “Automata4 ” has proposed an initiative to develop three electronic platforms.

The first platform, “Sotak,” aims to enhance the role of citizens in effectively and efficiently conveying complaints, and to promote transparency and accountability by utilizing complaints and suggestions.

According to al-Homsi, the second platform focuses on governmental correspondence or what is called the “Diwan,” transforming the correspondence between the directorates and bodies of the ministry into electronic communications.

The third platform is dedicated to presenting the ministry’s projects while receiving initiatives from companies and entities interested in proposing their initiatives to support the ministry.
