EU increases humanitarian aid to Syria to €202 Million

Brussels, SANA-The European Union (EU) has announced an increase in its humanitarian aid to Syria, raising the total allocation for this year to over €202 million.

In a statement posted on X platform: the EU Mission to Syria confirmed that an additional €20 million has been designated to support essential needs in northeastern Syria, including food and healthcare.

On May 20, 2025, the European Union (EU) officially announced the lifting of all economic sanctions imposed on Syria.
