President al-Sharaa issues decree renaming Tishreen University to Lattakia University

Damascus, SANA-President of the Republic, Mr. Ahmad al-Sharaa, issued Decree No. (100) for the year 2025, officially adopting the name Lattakia University as the new designation for the public university previously known as Tishreen University in the Syrian Arab Republic.
