Syrian reforms open the door to European Investments

Damascus, SANA- The Italian ambassador to Syria, Stefano Ravagnan, announced Sunday that he held “very useful” talks with Finance Minister Dr. Mohammad Yusr Barniyeh, focusing on economic reforms and future opportunities for cooperation between Syria and European Union countries.

In a post on the X platform, Ravagnan noted that the meeting addressed the upcoming reforms to attract foreign investment, stressing the great potential for enhancing European-Syrian cooperation, particularly in the areas of capacity building and technology transformation, which would contribute to supporting economic recovery efforts in the country.
