Damascus, SANA-President Ahmad al-Sharaa issued Wednesday Decree No. (112) establishing the “Development Fund” as an economic institution to support reconstruction in the Syrian Arab Republic.
The Fund will enjoy legal personality and financial and administrative independence, with headquarters in Damascus related to the Presidency.
The fund aims to contribute to the reconstruction, restoration, and development of infrastructure, which includes all services and facilities that support citizens’ daily lives, such as roads, bridges, water and electricity networks, airports, ports, communications networks, and others by financing these projects through the “Al qardh al-hassan (good loan)”.
