Damascus, SANA- President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmad al-Sharaa issued on Wednesday the Decree No. (113) for the year 2025, which stipulates the establishment of an economically-oriented institution in the Syrian Arab Republic called the Sovereign Fund, which enjoys legal personality as well as financial and administrative independence, with its headquarters in Damascus and is affiliated with the Presidency of the Republic.
The fund’s establishment, pursuant to the decree, aims to implement direct development and production projects, optimal investment of human and material resources and technical expertise from all specializations, revitalize the national economy through thoughtful and diversified investments, and transform inactive government assets into production and development tools.
