Mecca, SANA-The Muslim World League condemned the airstrikes carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on Syrian territory, calling on the international community to take decisive action against these dangerous violations that destabilize security in Syria and the region.
In a statement published on the League’s website, MWL Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Mohammed al-Issa, strongly denounced the Israeli occupation government’s dangerous and brutal approach of violating the sovereignty of nations, breaching international laws and norms, and undermining security and stability in Syria and the broader region.
He reaffirmed the MWL’s full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic against anything that threatens its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
He also called on the international community to take immediate and firm action against these serious violations, which destabilize the region, hinder the Syrian people’s path toward restoring security and stability, and undermine global efforts to support them at this critical juncture in their history after years of injustice and suffering.
