Syria’s Olympic team draws with Bahrain in Kyrgyzstan friendly tournament

Bishkek, SANA – Syria’s Olympic football team drew with its Bahraini counterpart 1/1 in its second match in the friendly quadrennial tournament held in Kyrgyzstan, as part of its preparations for qualifying for the Asian finals hosted by Tajikistan next September.

Hassan Dahan scored in the 70th minute, and the Bahraini team equalized in the 92nd minute from a penalty kick.

Our team had beaten Kyrgyzstan by 2/1 in its first match, and will conclude its matches in the tournament by meeting Oman on Wednesday.
