19 people killed and 100 injured in plane crash in Bangladesh

Dhaka, SANA-Nineteen people were killed and more than 100 injured in Bangladesh Monday following a plane crash north of the capital, Dhaka.

According to the Hindustan Daily, the Public Relations Department of the Bangladesh Army stated that a military training aircraft belonging to the country’s air force crashed within a university campus in the Uttara area, north of Dhaka. The incident resulted in the death of 19 people and left over 100 others injured.

The statement added that investigations are currently underway to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
