Damascus, SANA- Saudi Investment Minister Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and his accompanying delegation visited Damascus National Museum Friday, accompanied by Ministers of Culture and Endowments Mohammed Yasin Saleh and Mohammed Abu al-Khair Shukri.
The Saudi delegation viewed the museum’s archaeological and historical collections and artifacts which embody the richness and diversity of Syria’s cultural heritage throughout ages, from prehistoric times, ancient Syrian, Greek, and Roman civilizations, to Islamic antiquities and modern art.
This visit reflects Syria and Saudi Arabia’s keenness to boost cultural relations by enhancing cooperation and supporting investment in culture as a path to recovery and opening up prospects for development and close-ties between peoples.
