New York, SANA- UN Secretary-General António Guterres stressed that hungry must not be used as a weapon of war against people.
“Conflicts continue to spread hunger in Gaza and beyond, and hunger, in turn, fuels instability and undermines peace. We must never accept its use as a weapon of war,” Guterres explained in a video address at the UN Food Systems Conference in Ethiopia.
The World Health Organization warned on Sunday that malnutrition in Gaza has reached “very alarming levels,” and July recorded “the highest death toll.”
