Damascus, SANA- Director of General Company for Cement and Building Materials Marketing “Omran”, Eng. Mahmoud Fadila, said that more than 15 companies from several Arab and foreign countries have submitted their offers in order to invest in the field of cement and building materials in Syria.
“Economy and Industry Ministry and Cement Company set a number of terms for investing in cement mills at Tartous Cement Factory, as the company held Tuesday a session at Adra Cement Company headquarters on investing the mills of Tartous Cement Factory with representatives of 15 companies from Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Turkey and Germany”, Fadhila told a SANA.
Eng. Fadhila added that these companies are not interested in investing only the mills of Tartous Factory, but rather in all factories affiliated with the company, which will be offered for investing their mills successively.
He underlined the necessity for investing all qualified technical cadres and expertise, and the workers at Tartous Cement Factory and factories that will be offered for investment later, in addition to the production of high-quality cement.
