Director of General Secretariat for Political Affairs meets female activists from Damascus, Damascus countryside

Damascus, SANA- Director of the General Secretariat for Political Affairs, Mohammad Kahala, met Wednesday a group of female activists in Damascus and its countryside to discuss enhancing Woman’s role in building society and consolidating her participation in public life.

The meeting addressed the importance of woman’s vital role in supporting development and decision-making, and the need to adopt clear criteria for selecting elites and cadres participating in the next phase based on competence and experience, ensuring effective and influential contributions to the community building process.

Participants emphasized the need for woman to be effectively represented in government conferences and events, reflecting their status and enhancing their presence in various national fields.
