Ankara, SANA-Interior Minister, Anas Khattab, discussed with his Turkish counterpart Ali Yerlikaya enhancing joint cooperation, developing security coordination, and Turkish support for developing Syrian security institutions.
Minister Khattab, focused during his official visit to Turkey on “the conditions of Syrian citizens in Turkey, stressing the importance to continue cooperation to ensure their safe and dignified return and the facilitation of residents’ affairs.”
In turn, the Turkish Interior Minister said on X platform “we discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two ministries, particularly in the security field, and providing the necessary support to the Syrian Interior Ministry and its affiliated security agencies.”
Minister Khattab was accompanied by his deputies, Mohamed Fattouh, Deputy for Human Resources Affairs, and Brigadier General Basem Abdel Hamid Al-Mansour, Deputy for Legal and Administrative Affairs.
