Damascus, SANA-Commander of the Internal Security Forces in Damascus Governorate, Brigadier General Osama Mohammad Khair Atikah, announced that the Criminal Investigation Branch, uncovered the murderers of Diala Salhi al-Wadi that was killed at her home in Damascus.
Al-Wadi was found dead inside her home on Sunday Al-Malki Neighborhood.
The Officer said in a statement today “Immediately after receiving the report, patrols and specialized teams moved to the scene, collected evidence, reviewed surveillance cameras”.
“Initial investigations revealed that the victim had been assisted by a cleaning woman, who later confessed to coordinating with another person to murder the victim for the purpose of robbery” he added.
He explained that “those involved in the crime have been arrested, and investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances” and refer them to the competent judiciary for further legal action.
